Room101 Cigars FAQ
Who founded Room101, and when did they begin making cigars?
Matt Booth founded Room101 as a design-led lifestyle brand in 2003, beginning with handmade sterling silver jewelry. He launched Room101 Cigars in 2009, bringing that same independent creative outlook to cigars.
Where are Room101 cigars made?
Production varies by line. For example, Room101 says its Farce cigars are made by William Ventura, except for Farce Nicaragua, which is made at Joya de Nicaragua.
What’s the difference between Doomsayer Passive and Aggressive?
Passive uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and has a smoother, medium-bodied profile with spice and earthy notes. Aggressive uses a dark Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper for a bolder, richer smoke.
How do the Farce cigars differ?
The expressions offer distinct directions: Farce Connecticut is described as creamy and refined, Farce Maduro as rich and full-bodied, and Farce Nicaragua as a peppery Nicaraguan puro.
Which Room101 might suit someone who prefers a smoother cigar?
Johnny Tobacconaut is described by Room101 as smooth and flavor-forward, with a balanced, creamy and citrusy character. We can help you compare it with the other Room101 options in our humidor.
