Cabal Cigars has a unique connection to The Smoke Ring that goes back well before the brand ever existed.
Before founding Cabal Cigars, Chris Arolfo got his start in the cigar business right here at The Smoke Ring, managing our Webster cigar shop and lounge during the mid-2000s. His years behind the counter, working with premium cigars and the people who enjoy them, eventually helped lead him toward creating a cigar brand of his own.
Today, The Smoke Ring is proud to carry Cabal Cigars just a few feet from where that story began.

Before creating Cabal Cigars, Chris Arolfo managed The Smoke Ring in Webster, Texas during the mid-2000s. His experience working in the shop and cigar industry preceded the creation of the Cabal brand.
Who makes the Original Cabal?
The Original Cabal was developed by Chris Arolfo and Hendrik Kelner Jr. and produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.
What Cabal Cigars does The Smoke Ring carry?
We currently carry the Original Cabal, Cabal Initiative, and Cabal Cajita. Individual sizes and availability can vary.
Is Cabal Initiative the same blend as the Original Cabal?
No. Initiative is a separate Cabal project with a different blend and production origin. It uses a Corojo wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.
